Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 10-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (AI ethics, quantum applications, climate tech)
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and researchers to prototype breakthrough innovations
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies and assess market readiness
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Present technology visions to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Drive adoption of emerging standards in sustainability and digital ethics
- Mentor talent in future-focused technology disciplines
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of launching at least two major technology initiatives with global impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional strategic planning with demonstrated ability to translate vision to execution
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or major tech publications
- Experience securing multi-million dollar research grants or innovation funding
- Certification in Technology Foresight or equivalent futurism methodology
