Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with business objectives and emerging trends
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and assess market readiness
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from R&D, engineering, and commercial teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven impact assessments
- Establish KPIs to track strategy implementation and ROI of future-focused initiatives
- Build an ecosystem of innovation partners and thought leaders across Silicon Valley and global tech hubs
- Author thought leadership publications on technology's transformative potential by 2026
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, technology consulting, or R&D leadership within tech sector
- Proven track record of successfully implementing future-oriented technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, IoT, AR/VR) and market adoption cycles
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and boards of directors
- MBA or advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or related field required
- Portfolio demonstrating successful foresight projects or technology strategy implementations
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's innovation ecosystem
