Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3, etc.) and develop strategic implementation roadmaps for 2026+
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen technology applications
- Conduct competitive intelligence and market landscape assessments for future tech domains
- Develop patent strategies and IP protection frameworks for breakthrough innovations
- Present technology vision and strategic plans to executive leadership and investors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Create technology governance frameworks for ethical and responsible innovation
- Monitor global regulatory landscapes and anticipate policy impacts on future tech
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation roles
- Expertise in at least two future tech domains (e.g., quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Strong network within global tech innovation ecosystems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
