- Develop 5-year technology adoption roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional initiatives integrating emerging tech into core business operations
- Conduct horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies with 2026+ commercialization potential
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate and acquire disruptive startups
- Present strategic frameworks to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPIs for measuring innovation ROI and technology maturity curves
- Author thought leadership on future technology trends for industry publications
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning, product development, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of launching at least two future-focused initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with visualization expertise (Tableau/Power BI)
- Strong network with venture capitalists, academic researchers, and tech incubators
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating technology commercialization impact
