Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Develop and maintain 5-year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with UN SDGs
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum, bio-integrated systems)
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on technological trajectories
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting technology adoption timelines
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging tech ethics and governance
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning within tech, consulting, or R&D environments
- Proven track record in forecasting technology trends (demonstrated via published reports)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AGI governance, or neurotech
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Strong network within global tech innovation ecosystems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating technology foresight projects with measurable outcomes
