Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, AR/VR) for commercial viability
- Lead scenario planning for disruptive technological shifts affecting industry landscapes
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage a portfolio of innovation projects with $2M+ annual budgets
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Author thought leadership reports on future technology adoption patterns
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product development, or R&D leadership
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record in forecasting technological disruption (e.g., blockchain, IoT)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks and technology impact assessment
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating past strategic technology initiatives
