Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, metaverse integration) to develop 2026+ strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and business units
- Present future-vision blueprints to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and ROI on futuristic initiatives
- Forge strategic partnerships with Silicon Valley startups and research institutions
- Drive R&D allocation for next-gen technologies (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology interfaces)
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology architects
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in C-suite/VP-level roles
- Proven track record in scaling technology roadmaps from concept to market
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: AI, quantum, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (patents, white papers, TED talks)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's innovation ecosystem
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management
- Experience with scenario planning for 5-10 year horizons
