Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market predictions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, bio-integrated systems)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and competitive threats
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and automation implementation
- Present strategic recommendations to executive board with ROI projections
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for pilot programs and R&D initiatives
- Partner with academic institutions to shape future technology curricula
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-focused roles
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 disruptive tech initiatives
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, quantum computing)
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or related field
- Published thought leadership on future tech trends (IEEE, Harvard Business Review)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Innovation Management
- Experience scaling tech teams in high-growth environments
- Strong understanding of ethical tech governance frameworks
