Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 5-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market predictions
- Lead development of next-gen AI/ML frameworks and quantum computing applications
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (AR/VR, biotech, neural interfaces)
- Present innovation roadmaps to C-suite and board of directors
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget across 12 innovation projects
- Mentor cross-functional teams in agile development methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record launching AI/quantum products ($100M+ impact)
- Deep expertise in ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, C++, etc.)
- Experience with futures forecasting methodologies
- Validated ability to secure government/VC funding for moonshot projects
