Responsibilities
- Research and forecast disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology) with 3-5 year market impact analysis
- Develop patent-pending innovation frameworks for ethical AI deployment and autonomous system governance
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping next-gen human-computer interfaces
- Establish strategic partnerships with DARPA, MIT Media Lab, and quantum research institutions
- Architect 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with UN SDGs and climate tech initiatives
- Present technology disruption scenarios to C-suite and board members
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging technology assessment methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurism with 8+ years tech strategy experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms or neuromorphic computing
- Proven track record of launching 3+ enterprise-level AI/quantum products
- Expertise in ethical AI frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Deep understanding of exponential technology convergence patterns
- Experience securing $10M+ in government innovation grants
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Certified Futurist (CF) from Association of Professional Futurists
