Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with market forecasts and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, sustainable AI) with disruptive potential
- Lead scenario planning workshops for technology adoption and market evolution
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Drive thought leadership through whitepapers and industry conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or consulting
- Proven track record anticipating tech trends (demonstrated via past successful predictions)
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, biotech, quantum)
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certifications in Futures Thinking, Strategic Foresight, or Technology Forecasting preferred
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking abilities
- Experience building technology portfolios for 5-10 year horizons
- Strong presentation skills with executive audiences
