- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026+ technology strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Analyze competitive landscapes and regulatory frameworks to mitigate risks and capitalize on first-mover advantages
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven insights
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Manage a $5M innovation budget with rigorous ROI tracking and reporting
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, corporate innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching successful futuristic initiatives with measurable impact
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, quantum computing)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend forecasting
