Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology) with disruptive potential
- Architect strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Translate technical capabilities into commercial opportunities and product roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Oversee pilot programs for next-gen technologies with measurable ROI targets
- Establish ethical frameworks for responsible innovation deployment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning with 3+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic innovations
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence, or decentralized systems
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and driving strategic initiatives
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, CSTM)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex technological scenarios
