Responsibilities

- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (nanotech, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human augmentation technologies
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and federal innovation councils
- Manage $50M+ R&D portfolio allocation across emerging tech verticals
- Pioneer carbon-negative technology implementation strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Biotechnology with 5+ years industry application
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies post-2025
- Experience scaling technology from lab to market (3+ products)
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Deep understanding of global tech policy landscapes (US-EU-China dynamics)
- Track record of securing federal grants ($10M+)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, or Julia)
- Public speaking experience at Davos, Web Summit, or equivalent forums
