Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, prioritizing emerging fields like quantum AI and neuro-interfaces
- Lead market research and competitive analysis to identify disruptive opportunities in next-gen tech
- Collaborate with product development teams to prototype and launch breakthrough solutions
- Present technology strategy to executive leadership and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and startups for early-stage technology adoption
- Manage a $5M innovation budget with rigorous ROI analysis for experimental projects
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of technology futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership with proven impact on commercialized tech
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced AI, etc.)
- Track record of launching products/services that generated $50M+ in revenue from novel technologies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with published research in future tech
- Exceptional strategic planning skills with ability to visualize 5-10 year technology horizons
- Experience scaling innovation teams and managing cross-functional global initiatives
- Strong financial acumen for technology valuation and investment analysis
- Certification in emerging technology (e.g., Quantum Computing, AI Ethics) preferred
