Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026 market leadership
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and industry disruption timelines
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate and prototype future-forward solutions with engineering and product teams
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and investors with data-driven impact projections
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and startups to accelerate innovation adoption cycles
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology deployment in key markets
- Drive commercialization strategies for experimental technologies with 18-36 month horizons
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years in strategic technology planning
- Proven track record of launching at least two disruptive technologies to market
- Expertise in futures research methodologies, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Deep understanding of AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology ecosystems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and managing innovation pipelines
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technology commercialization case studies
