Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology landscapes (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning emerging tech with business objectives
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite and investors with data-driven insights
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and tech incubators
- Build and mentor high-performing innovation teams
- Monitor ethical implications and sustainability of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation, or emerging technologies
- Proven track record launching futuristic products/services (2018-2025)
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive communication skills
- Experience with futures research methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi)
- Portfolio of 3+ successful innovation initiatives
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or major conferences
