As a key member of our innovation council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives to identify emerging opportunities, assess disruptive risks, and develop scalable frameworks for next-generation products. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, translates complex concepts into actionable strategies, and has a proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Design and validate pilot programs for quantum computing applications and AI integration
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven impact assessments
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical technology deployment and regulatory compliance
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to accelerate innovation
- Mentor junior technologists on future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product development, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, biotech, or clean tech
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts into business value propositions
- Experience launching at least one breakthrough product with >$100M market impact
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in scenario planning and trend analysis
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in emerging technology domains preferred
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE) a plus
