Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and boards of directors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups for R&D collaboration
- Oversee pilot programs for emerging technologies with measurable ROI targets
- Drive thought leadership through white papers, conference keynotes, and industry reports
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership within high-growth tech companies
- Proven experience developing 5+ year technology roadmaps with successful execution
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AI/ML ethics, sustainable tech
- Track record of launching commercialized products from early-stage R&D
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Strong presentation skills with experience influencing C-level executives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or futurism
