- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive intelligence to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for R&D collaboration
- Develop implementation frameworks for emerging technologies in enterprise environments
- Mentor junior innovators and foster a culture of experimental thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with 8+ years in tech strategy
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technology initiatives
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, IoT, AR/VR)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., from Institute for the Future)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Portfolio of published thought leadership on future technologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
