Our Austin-based innovation hub offers unparalleled resources, including a quantum computing lab and AI development sandbox. This position reports directly to the Chief Innovation Officer and includes significant executive exposure.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech) and develop strategic implementation plans
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and deploying next-gen solutions
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research for future-facing technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Collaborate with R&D to align commercial applications with breakthrough innovations
- Develop risk mitigation frameworks for emerging technology adoption
- Represent the company at global tech conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's/PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or product innovation leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of scaling experimental technologies to commercial products
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication expertise
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies preferred
