Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year technology roadmap for 2026-2028, aligning with corporate vision and market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic, bio-AI)
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for next-gen tech domains
- Secure strategic partnerships with research institutions and industry leaders
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite and investors
- Manage innovation portfolio with $5M+ annual budget allocation
- Drive adoption of agile methodologies in R&D processes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500/unicorn experience
- Proven track record launching commercialized technologies (3+ major products)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE) or equivalent industry impact
- Proficiency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Exceptional communication skills for executive stakeholder management
