Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and organizational vision
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, Web3) and assess commercial viability
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future-tech capabilities into core offerings
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints focused on prototyping next-gen solutions
- Establish KPIs to measure technological innovation impact and ROI
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy or innovation management with 3+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or decentralized systems
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical concepts
- Exceptional communication skills for influencing executive stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $5M
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
