Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects in quantum/AI/sustainable tech
- Secure and manage federal/state innovation grants ($5M+ target)
- Partner with Stanford/MIT/Caltech on emerging tech initiatives
- Translate technical concepts into commercialization strategies
- Present findings to C-suite and government stakeholders
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years in emerging tech R&D or strategy roles
- Proven grant-writing success with federal agencies (DARPA, NSF)
- Expertise in at least two future tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Experience with technology roadmapping and IP strategy
- Strong stakeholder management across public/private sectors
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
