Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop comprehensive technology adoption roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-forward solutions
- Analyze competitive landscapes and patent landscapes for strategic positioning
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with research institutions, startups, and tech pioneers
- Author thought leadership content on future technology trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or venture innovation
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum computing, biotech, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of translating technology into market-ready solutions
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon scanning)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
- Published author or speaker at major tech conferences (CES, Web Summit, etc.)
