Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and technology forecasting for 2026+ trends across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and immersive experiences
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning emerging technologies with business objectives and market opportunities
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype and validate next-generation solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Monitor competitor innovation landscapes and identify first-mover advantages
- Drive cross-functional adoption of future-focused technologies across business units
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or emerging technologies
- Proven track record of developing technology roadmaps for 5+ year horizons
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management expertise
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization or innovation initiatives
