Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) with 2026+ impact assessment
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Technology Roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Conduct ROI analysis and feasibility studies for futuristic technology investments
- Partner with product teams to integrate next-gen capabilities into customer solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and manage an external ecosystem of tech innovators and research institutions
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., AI ethics, quantum applications, synthetic biology)
- Experience developing long-term technology roadmaps (5-10 year horizons)
- Strong financial modeling skills for technology investment decisions
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication abilities
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
