Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including generative AI, AR/VR integration, and quantum computing applications
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with market potential by 2026
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technology investments with business transformation goals
- Author thought leadership whitepapers and present at industry conferences on future tech trends
- Build and manage a network of academic, startup, and corporate innovation partners
- Conduct scenario planning for technology adoption curves and regulatory impacts
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proofing methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or spatial computing
- Proven track record of launching technology initiatives with measurable ROI
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical data
- Exceptional communication skills for executive stakeholder management
- Certification in emerging technologies or strategic foresight preferred
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks and technology adoption models
