Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI governance, and climate-tech initiatives
- Lead cross-functional teams of PhD researchers and engineers to prototype breakthrough innovations
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (e.g., neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Collaborate with global partners to establish industry-wide ethical frameworks for 2026+ tech
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through grant writing and venture partnerships
Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in scaling tech products from concept to commercialization
- Expertise in quantum computing, AI ethics, or sustainable infrastructure systems
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming framework (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strategic advisory experience with Fortune 100 companies
