Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and technology forecasting for 2026+ innovations
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating emerging technologies into core business
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and tech startups
- Conduct competitive analysis of next-gen technology adoption trends
- Present technology insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage pilot programs for breakthrough technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Drive innovation culture through internal workshops and thought leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of implementing emerging technologies at scale
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Strong presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation (patents/articles a plus)
