Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market projections and company vision
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR) and assess commercial viability
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite and stakeholders, securing buy-in and resources
- Monitor global tech trends, patents, and competitive landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
- Drive adoption of ethical frameworks and sustainable practices in innovation cycles
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of forward-thinking experimentation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AI, or biotech preferred)
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology forecasting, and market analysis
- Strong proficiency in agile methodologies and innovation frameworks (e.g., Design Thinking)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certification in technology management or innovation strategy (e.g., CTO Academy, MIT Sloan)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio of successfully launched technology initiatives or patents
