Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap for emerging domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, metaverse infrastructure)
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with $5M+ annual innovation budget
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage a team of 12+ researchers and innovation specialists
- Author industry thought leadership publications and conference keynotes
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies across 15+ global business units
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies (quantum/AI/metaverse)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting and scenario planning methodologies
- Experience managing $1M+ R&D budgets and cross-continental teams
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or equivalent journals
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks
- Security clearance preferred for government-contract projects
