Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with corporate vision and market trends
- Lead research and evaluation of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration, etc.) for commercial viability
- Build and manage a cross-functional innovation team, fostering a culture of experimentation and rapid prototyping
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members with data-driven insights
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders to accelerate innovation
- Oversee the development of proof-of-concepts for breakthrough technologies with potential $100M+ market impact
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory changes to ensure proactive compliance and strategic positioning
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership, with at least 5 years in C-suite or VP-level roles
- Proven track record of successfully launching transformative technologies with measurable market impact
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data into actionable strategies
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performing innovation teams
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and global innovation communities
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and managing P&L for innovation initiatives
