Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps with quantifiable impact metrics
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, bio-digital convergence, AGI safety)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and product teams
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and startups
- Present technology forecasts to investors and board members
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-gen deployments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE or Nature on emerging technologies
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic innovations
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, neurotech
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
