Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging fields including quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and decentralized systems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and assess commercial viability
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype next-gen solutions and validate technical feasibility
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers to accelerate innovation
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products or services
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, biotech convergence, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional analytical and systems-thinking abilities
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional innovation projects
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies (strongly preferred)
