Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) to identify strategic opportunities
- Develop and execute technology adoption roadmaps with measurable ROI targets
- Lead innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to the board of directors
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Mentor a team of 3-5 technologists and futurists
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and their business implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching tech products with >$10M revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Portfolio of published thought leadership or patents in future technologies
