Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for emerging tech sectors
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Partner with VC firms to scout and evaluate early-stage startups
- Represent company at global tech summits and industry consortiums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record developing 5+ year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech/climate tech)
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE/Nature/Science journals preferred
- Experience managing global innovation teams across 3+ continents
- Strong network with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
