Responsibilities
- Research and forecast emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercial viability
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating next-gen innovations into core product lines
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technology investments with business objectives
- Identify and cultivate partnerships with research labs and startups in quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech
- Analyze competitive landscapes to position Innovatech as a future-ready industry leader
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive pilot programs for experimental technologies with rapid iteration cycles
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, AGI ethics, or climate tech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to stakeholders
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessments
- Portfolio of published research or patents in emerging fields
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
