Responsibilities
- Lead technology horizon scanning for 2026+ innovations across quantum, AI, and biotech domains
- Develop strategic roadmaps translating emerging research into commercial applications
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech initiatives into corporate vision
- Manage cross-functional R&D sprints with 15+ technical specialists
- Secure and oversee $10M+ innovation fund allocations for breakthrough projects
- Represent company at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Author forward-looking white papers published in MIT Tech Review
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record commercializing emerging technologies (3+ successful launches)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with venture capital funding cycles and startup ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications
- Fluency in Mandarin, German, or Japanese preferred for global partnerships
