Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and innovation ROI
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of experimental thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching technology-driven products/services
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, quantum computing, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
