Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) and assess their commercial viability
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with company vision and market projections
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-forward solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Monitor global tech policy developments and regulatory shifts
- Mentor junior innovation specialists in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of anticipating tech trends (e.g., blockchain, metaverse)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Experience with scenario planning and futures forecasting methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical domains
- Published thought leadership in emerging technology publications
