Responsibilities

- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers
- Develop commercialization pathways for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years leading R&D teams at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Published research in quantum machine learning or neuromorphic computing
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants (NSF, DARPA, etc.)
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Deep understanding of AI alignment and ethical AI frameworks
- Patent portfolio demonstrating commercializable innovations
