Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions and regulatory landscapes
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI, neurotech) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and business teams
- Partner with VPs to align tech strategy with corporate vision and investor expectations
- Conduct scenario planning for technological black swan events and paradigm shifts
- Build and maintain ecosystem partnerships with research institutions and startups
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members
- Manage innovation lab budget and resource allocation for future tech initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies or foresight roles
- Proven track record of launching products with 5+ year market impact
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar foresight methodology certification
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for nascent technologies (FDA, FCC, etc.)
- Strong background in corporate innovation labs or venture tech
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive communication skills
- PhD in relevant field or equivalent industry breakthrough contributions
