Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead research initiatives in emerging technologies including quantum AI, neural interfaces, and synthetic biology
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate breakthrough innovations into commercial solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present technological forecasts and innovation frameworks to executive leadership and investors
- Mentor a specialized innovation team of 5-7 technologists and futurists
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and their implications for product development
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 12+ years of experience
- Proven track record in strategic technology planning and innovation pipeline management
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Executive-level experience with Fortune 500 or hyper-growth tech companies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or venture capital for experimental projects
