Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (2026+) to identify market opportunities and competitive threats
- Develop strategic roadmaps for adopting breakthrough technologies across all business units
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Present tech strategy insights to executive leadership and board members
- Build and maintain relationships with venture capitalists, research institutions, and tech pioneers
- Author thought leadership content on future tech disruption
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Executive presence with ability to influence C-suite and external stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred)
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (whitepapers, patents, or keynotes)
- Experience scaling technology ventures from concept to market leadership
