Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) for commercial viability
- Lead innovation workshops and hackathons to incubate breakthrough concepts
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Build and lead a high-performing R&D team of 15+ specialists
- Establish strategic partnerships with tech pioneers and academic institutions
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in executive leadership
- Proven track record commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: AI, quantum computing, or decentralized systems
- Experience scaling tech initiatives from concept to $100M+ revenue streams
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar foresight methodology training
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
