Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology strategy roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, scientists, and designers in moonshot projects
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present tech vision to C-suite and board members with data-driven insights
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and futurist workshops
- Monitor geopolitical and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching products with $100M+ market impact
- PhD or equivalent in STEM field with published research in high-impact journals
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences
- Experience securing $50M+ in R&D funding or grants
