Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 technology vision roadmap aligning with company growth objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing next-gen innovation projects with global impact
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders to shape future tech ecosystems
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Monitor technological disruption vectors and adapt strategy in real-time
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track progress against 2026 milestones
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Proven track record of scaling innovative solutions in Fortune 500 environments
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR)
- Executive-level experience presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in future-tech publications (e.g., MIT Tech Review, Wired)
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and technology forecasting models
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
