- Develop and execute the 2026+ technology strategy roadmap, aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching, prototyping, and validating emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders to accelerate innovation
- Conduct horizon-scanning analyses to identify disruptive technologies and competitive threats
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and boards with data-driven recommendations
- Drive organizational adoption of future-ready technologies through change management frameworks
- Manage innovation portfolios with ROI-focused resource allocation and risk mitigation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, with 5+ years in emerging tech or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives (e.g., AI, Web3, quantum applications)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, technology forecasting, and scenario planning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with a tech specialization
- Deep understanding of emerging tech ecosystems (blockchain, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M and cross-functional teams of 20+
