Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI agents, quantum interfaces)
- Conduct competitive analysis and ecosystem mapping for emerging tech verticals
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board members with data-driven narratives
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Author white papers on technological convergence and societal impact
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record predicting market shifts (portfolio of successful tech bets)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, biotech)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technical systems
- Experience securing $10M+ in strategic innovation funding
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals or conferences
